1967 Gibson SG Custom. Extremely rare, one of 47 made in 1967. (Pot codes date to 20th week 1967). This is a one owner guitar, and the original owner lived in Kalamazoo Michigan. 100% original parts and hardware, (original Kluson waffle back tuners are in the case pocket). By the way, original case, tolex is a little rough, but case is very solid, all latches and hinges work well. All three pickups are opened, patent sticker pickups. As shown in the picture of the rear of the headstock, the upper corner of the headstock was chipped when the original owner installed the Grover tuners, in 1972. At that time, the guitar was taken back to the factory, to have the tip glued, and the entire guitar was then over-sprayed, the original finish was never removed, and is still visible at the wear points. No headstock or neck to body joint breaks ever. Call for details. |
