Gibson Futura. This is an EXACT replica of a 1957-58 Explorer / Futura. These were 3, possibly 4 of the original 22 Explorers built with this head stock. One was owned by Rick Derringer, and is now in the Chinery Collection. One is owned by Rick Neilson of Cheap Trick, One is in a Japanese Collection and the whereabouts of the 4th is unknown.
This guitar is solid Korina, with a two piece, center seamed body.
