Wrona-Miller Prototype #1

Wrona-Miller Chambered Body Hard Tail Experiment

Pluck a string on your guitar, and you've created the kinetic energy that will become the sounds your instrument produces. How efficiently the guitar makes use of that energy is going to have a great deal to do with the tones that come out of it, and the playability of the guitar.
With this in mind, the Wrona-Miller Guitar, incorporating it's unique truss-rod through system, has been designed to be extremely efficient in the management of the available kinetic energy, by providing it a more positive pathway for it to move within the instrument.

Details Of The Truss Rod Design

  • The Wrona-Miller truss-rod system, unlike the truss-rods in conventional guitars, does more than act as a way for adjusting the "bow" in the neck. In the Wrona-Miller system, by coupling the nut to the bridge. it creates a pathway for the movement of the kinetic energy generated as the string is excited. Rather than allowing it to dissipate into the body and headstock, this keeps the string "alive" longer, for much greater sustain.
  • There is no loss of sustain for players who like to use tremelo.
  • Unlike other guitars, which if you listen closely to as a note decays, tend to wobble in terms of pitch or volume. Because of it's efficienciy, the Wrona-Miller stays true.
  • Taper fit, bolt on neck mortise contributes to the guitar's performance. By providing the contact accociated with glue-in necks, while maintaining the convienience of a bolt-on neck.

Adjustable Nut Assembly

Convenient Controls

  • A unique method of mounting and adjusting magnetic pick-ups, which isolates the pick-up to a greater degree from transient vibrations in the instruments, making it perform better, as well as making them easy to adjust.
  • In so far as the truss-rod is permanently fastened to the nut in the Wrona-Miller guitar, the nut is not intended to be shimmed or replaced as in conventional guitars. Instead it is made in two pieces, and easily adjusted with an allen wrench.
  • Comfortable to play! With carefully considered cutaways, cotours, and recessed neck plate.
  • Master volume control, where the player can just look down to check the level.
  • Convenient and unique jack input.
