Gretsch Pink Princess

Gretsch Pink Princess

Here we have to a very rare Gretsch Princess model in pink. The guitar is actually an old stock circa 1963-66 Gretsch body from the original Brooklyn factory, the body was found on eBay in spring of 2011, the seller had 25 old stock Gretsch bodies found in a storage locker in Memphis. I do have a copy of the eBay sale to prove where the body came from. Gretsch catalogs from the early sixties state you could get the Princess model in pink but one has never been seen so we decided that we would do this vintage body as the Gretsch that never was, a Pink Princess. The neck is old stock mahogany, one piece, single action truss rod and a real Brazilian rosewood fretboard, most of the parts and hardware are vintage early sixties parts, old stock Bigsby and bridge, old stock VanGhent tuners with hex bushings, vintage early sixties knobs and pots, the logo is a real old stock Gretsch decal, the pickup is a new issue Gretsch and the pickguard is handmade to replicate the pickguards Gretsch used on the Peppermint Twist models. The finish is nitro cellulose lacquer. The guitar does have a used but good condition hardshell case. Call for further details.
